![]() Here’s the current schedule of those content releases and their names: What’s in the Destiny 2 Annual Pass?Īccording to Bungie, the pass will offer access to three “premium content releases” tied to seasonal updates for Destiny 2. Think of it like a season pass for an expansion. ![]() That bundle, which includes Destiny 2: Forsaken and the Annual Pass, costs $69.99 - a $5 savings over buying the expansion and the Annual Pass ($34.99 by itself) separately. Bungie already has plans for Destiny 2 content updates coming through summer 2019, and is now selling an “Annual Pass” that offers players exclusive access to that content.īungie and publisher Activision are already selling Destiny 2’s Annual Pass on the game’s website as part of a bundle. ![]() Shadowkeep comes with a season, so while the seasonal content itself will transfer (like the premium battle pass) Shadowkeep itself has to be bought twice for two platforms for access to Shadowkeep-specific content. In addition to revealing details on the next major expansion for Destiny 2, an add-on titled Forsaken, today Bungie talked more about future content coming to the game. This remains not true for Shadowkeep, which is where things get a little complicated. So once and for all, if say your main is PS4, and you use cross save to link to PC, you can then buy a season on Steam and it will indeed come with you across all platforms, PC, PS4, Xbox, whatever. As in, you can buy them anywhere and they will transfer. Seasons will be purchased via Silver, and since all Silver purchases, no matter where they are, are transferred between cross save accounts, seasons function the same way.Originally, the Xbox example I was given was wrong, and when the term “main account” was used, it means your main Bungie account and your main Guardians which are shared across the accounts through cross save. Then, I had what is no doubt the longest behind the scenes convo I’ve ever had with Bungie about this, trying to get final clarity, and here’s what we came up with. He’s saying that you can buy seasons and they will transfer “with your cross-saved Guardian” but some people said that wasn’t clear enough, and didn’t answer the platform-specific question about where you needed to originally purchase the season. ![]()
